Career Day Bummer

In the 6th grade at my school we do a Career Day, it's where 6th graders job shadow a parent or family friend. It's on May 6th and I told my dad got all the permission slips and info. forms filled out etc. Well, my dad knew he had 2 business trips that month and told me he would work around that day and make sure I would be able to come. Trent got to go with my dad for Career Day. He's a chemical engineer; which involves my best and favorite subjects Math and Science! But this part really sucks, my mom was asking when my dad has his business trips in May (just to make sure he is here on Garrett's birthday) he said the first week and some other week; me, in the room at the moment went to a calendar and asked, "Are you going to be here on May 6th?" his reply, " nope." Leaving me heart-broken and hurt. He PROMISED (well technically) and said he would make sure he was here... nope. Then, causes me to get angry and in a pillar of darkness and despair. I was hurt and upset, mostly because we had already sent the business letters to our job shadower's supervisor letters to ask if we could come and follow our parents (or family friend's) around their work; we wrote it in pen and it took me like 10 times just to get it right! So, me all bummed out and already thinking what am I honestly going to do now? Though... luckily I have the most bestest friend (and her dad) ever!!! I asked if I could job shadow my dentist and bestest family friend if I could job shadow him (well my bestest friend ever asked for me but anyway) and he said yes!!! So, now I am getting all the Career Day forms filled out again. But, at least I am with my bestest friend and my favorite dentist ever on Career Day (he is my only dentist I've had)!!!

Seriously What Now?

Tonight I was thinking Tye-dyeing shirts would be fun and everyone would be happy and smiling and of course laughing. Boy, was I wrong! Well my friend is moving to Jefferson City at the end of the school year and apparently, what I have been noticing is that this guy is being a jerk to her! It makes me really mad and her furious! So, we were done Tye-dyeing and we were in the hall, just talking... then the guy I told you about was taking his brother by the arm with him so my friend said, "Hey leave my friend alone!" So he said " He's not your friend, nobody is your friend." Which, made me outraged at the moment, thinking to just go over there and smack him! Ughhhh! So I said very rudely to him, " Well, then I guess I am a nobody, but, you know what I am just going to ignore you because I don't really care about what you say to me or my friends 'cause you're a jerk!" Which he is. So, I'm kinda thinking that he thinks that he is cool and tough to bully and beat on a girl. Well, he's wrong, absolutely WRONG! But, what also got to me at that moment was me thinking actually believing I was a nobody. I was nothing and just well.. nobody. But, I am seriously not going to let that get to me because I know, I KNOW he is a jerk and he will never EVER have a girl like him if keeps acting like this. What's he going to do next? What? Tell me.

Really Awesome Sayings!!!

Okay last night I was going through family history stuff and came across these cool sayings/quotes from NIKE. I think it was a magazine but they were separate pages so I couldn't tell. Anyway I thought they were very inspiring and true so I decided to tell you (hey that rhymes!!! true and you!!!). So here they are:

What Am I Like to Others...

OK, I am going to copy a friend of mines idea. So, don't get mad at me I thought it was a good idea, plus I kinda want to know what people think of me!
School: School people think of me as the funny, outgoing, smart person, sporty person, stylin' person, and the extra curricular student (also known as teacher's pet). Well, that's mostly girls at my school not my guy friends.
Bus: A very tedious girl, pretty quiet, and not very talkative. Very strange. Well, that's mostly one person. But my other friend keeps everyone in a conversation and keeps me talking! Well, I think I am like that because... well the person that thinks I am pretty tedious is a guy. I think it's just easier to talk to a girl... no offense! It's only because... well... girls understand girl things and guys understand guy things. Let me just put it girls talk about guys, clothes, marriages, girl activities, and shopping; while guys usually talk about sports, camp outs, gym, and kinda funny things.
Church: Very giggly, talkative, musical, polite, nice, sweet, responsible, LITTLE girl! Not, that it's a bad thing it's just I am not a little girl! I am just short! Oh, this is also about adults too. So, I am kinda a random person at church it just depends on my mood!
Soccer/Sports: A very braggy, sporty, sarcastic, rough housing, anxious person. I am usually also the kind of person who is always right during sports!
Home: At home there is a lot of things... let's start with a sarcastic, annoying, annoyed, jerkish, bossy, musical, responsible, short, weak, back talking, sporty, cute, irresponsible, neat, messy, caring, thoughtful, complaining, begging, smart, a blond, weird, cool, creative, artistic, funny, competitive girl. Told there was a lot of things at home; this includes stuff from everyone who lives with me!
So please tell me what else I missed! I want to know what you think, what I need to improve, what needs to stay the same, stuff like that! So COMMENT PLEASE!

Wednesday: A BIG Shocker

So, everyday almost Brooklyn and I walk the Pickens' dogs. Well, on Wednesday, it wasn't even 5 minutes of walking Sasha and Spirit, I was walking Spirit at the moment and all of a sudden she walks around me tugging then slips her collar off! So, I just stand there my mouth open and stunned, and before Brooklyn could say GO GET HER I was already off, probably running as fast as I could having an injured leg! It was painful and tiring but I still ran then she like vanished! Then, Brooklyn catches up with me and we look around for a second, but we didn't find her. So we go up to the Pickens' house and tell them we lost her; Toriann tells us to just walk Sasha and look around for her for the next half hour. So we did. While we were doing that I happened to bring my purple sparkly bouncing ball, so Brooklyn started bouncing it. Well.... she accidentally bounced it into the road where 1 car almost hit it! Me yelling GET THE BALL.. GET THE BALL... DON"T RUN OUT THERE YOU'LL GET HIT BY A CAR!!!! So we wait then it goes toward a sewer... but, luckily it bounced not even an inch before going in so it didn't go in. WHEW! So, then I start bouncing it and guess what! It went into the street but this time there was 3 cars that almost ran over it! So we decide to not do it anymore. Like 10 minutes later we are at the top of the Pickens' street and decide to roll the ball down the hill. It being April Fools I figured Brooklyn was kidding when it went in a sewer... she would joke about it even if it wasn't April Fools! So, I say yeah whatever... oh but was I wrong! It actually went into the sewer! So Brooklyn tried to get it out, and while that happened... Spirit appeared!!! So I chase after her at first, then I notice Toriann is outside, so I let Spirit run to her!! So, we didn't get into trouble!!! YAY! But then Sasha, right when we were done walking... RUNS AWAY!!! Oh, we got the ball and luckily the sewer was all dried up! So, we look around in the car for awhile... and then not even 10 minutes after we left they found her! Wow! It was a very stunning and shocking day... oh and pretty painful! Wait... why did I put an exclamation if pain isn't so exciting? I don't know just ignore it I am just happy we found the dogs!

Oh.... OUCH!!!!!

Okay, now you will be hearing 3 times a week from my soccer parctices and things like that for about 5 weeks. So, today I had soccer practice, and we did our "drills" and "special" techniques. After that we played scrimage... well so far so good my team.. of course WINNING! While the other teams losing; anyway I was getting the ball away from somebody then... he tries to get the ball back but... instead kicked me right on the side of my knee, I didn't notice till I looked at my knee... so I kicked him back, well... maybe I kinda tripped him... only because he was walking while I was just kicking him! Anyway, so we kept on playing... then, this assistant coach was kicking the soccer ball in and he kicked HARD! So it was up in the air... I was going to settle it and I did but... I settled it on my thigh... which gave me a bruise of the size of a size 4 soccer ball. Leaving swelling, bruises, scrapes, and cuts... but, I really don't care, I don't get hurt that easily, so no crying...that is totally not me, but, I did saw it hurt... but I still ran and played and WON!!! I know right! It was my right leg too, and I am right footed! So I can win a game (well scrimage) with a wounded leg, now that is TOUGH! That's what my dad says..."TOUGH." Well whenever we are complaining... which usually comes from Garrett. But, this is about me not Garrett so.... yeah. See I am so hardcore! Well, depends on how you look at it. I am not saying I am fat either so don't think that 'cause I am so totally NOT! That is just WAY off the subject anyway so nevermind. So, that was soccer practice on: Tuesday; just need Thursday and Saturday!

Spring Break Ends...

Great... now Spring Break is over and I don't get to sleep till 10:30 anymore. Not that school can't be fun... hanging out with your friends it's just that... I hate morning. I am not a morning person. Me get up at 7:00 please, no way! Even though I have to get up at 6 almost every day of the week now that soccer has started(YAY SOCCER!) I just will have to endure getting up at 6 now every morning. Though I WAS really good at waking up at 6 every morning.. but when I get like 2 weeks of actually getting 8 hours of sleep I am all for it! But... this morning was dreadful... I actually slept in compared to getting up for school every day like I used to. WELL.... I am amazed I was able to get out of bed, get breakfast, brush my teeth, get dressed,straighten my hair fair enough, and get to the bus stop ON TIME! I don't think I really needed to... we have a new bus driver and he took like 20 min. just to get to MY BUS STOP! Think of how much more sleep I could have gotten! You want to know what else!? I actually didn't fall asleep at school!!!! That is so awesome! Well, I guess it was because I didn't have a chance to... unlike last time when we were watching the most boring science related movie EVER!! Wasn't my fault I was tired... wait I am always tired mostly. Oh Well, I don't care. So I can't wait till school is over! I can stay up till 2 in the morning, sleep in till noon, and not go to school!!!! That is usually what I do during the summer, just sit back and relax... except when I am over at my friend's house then I am 100% awake from lots of caffine and sugar! Well, not really sugar... mostly caffine!!! Well, maybe not that either... I am just fully awake!!!! Right now I think I am like on drugs (not really, just a figure of speech... don't worry) or else I would be in my bed not awake that's for sure! Well, I will blog some other time like tomorrow when I have Soccer Practice! Then, I will surely have a story to tell! Mwahahahahaha.....HA!
